Students discover their passion and Purpose, innovate with Impact, and prepare for what comes Next

THE SCHOOL OF THE FUTURE.

Entrepreneurship & Innovation

We recognize entrepreneurship as a mindset and a means of sharing our ideas with the world. Innovation enables us to create functional and emotional value. We learn to take risks, work through failure, and experience success. Together, we create beautiful outcomes that benefit the world.

Human-Centered Design

We employ human-centered design as a process to learn empathy and compassion. HCD is a problem-solving technique that focuses on real people. It starts with developing empathy for the users whom you are designing for. This process, which never loses sight of the stakeholders and the needs of people, guides our students in problem-solving, teamwork, integrity, and compassion.

“I enjoy the human-centered design approach to learning. It ensures we can tackle challenges we face with empathy."

- Paul, 10th Grade

Integrated Curriculum & Experiential Learning

We seek to create experiences that are both integrated and experiential. This founding philosophy, where subjects are integrated rather than isolated, improves retention and deepens learning. Our innovators apply their learning to hands-on projects that offer real-world experience.

Belonging & Togetherness

We strive to create a sense of belonging wherever we are. We want those in our community to feel accepted, valued, and heard. From our staff to our students, our diversity and our dedication to inclusion come together to create a really special community.

“You form bonds with people you might not normally get to know. There are so many unexpected friendships. You always have a place in our community."

- Maya, 10th Grade

New England Innovation Academy is a day and boarding school for grades 7-12 that uses human-centered design to teach empathy and entrepreneurship.
